Taylor Creek
Here you will find a snow-play area, a small sledding hill, and cross-country skiing acess to Fallen Leaf Lake. No snowmobiles are allowed. The area is on the west side of Highway 89 near Camp Richardson, one mile west of echo summit.
Fees: The day use parking fee is $3.

Echo Summit
With an extensive sledding hill and some cross-country terrain, this snow-play area has become quite popular. No snowmobiles are allowed. (A Sno-Park permit is available at the lodge.) The area is on the south side of Highway 50 at Echo Summit.
Fees: The day use parking fee is $5 day $25 season.
